Louisville Mega Caverns

November 17, 2014 by in Jeremy, Jeremy, Neon Velo

This past week the Neon Velo Cyling team got invited to check out the new underground mountain bike park in Louisville Kentucky. “Mega Cavern” as its known, also features a 2.5 hour zip lining tour and a full ropes course along with a restaurant and a Christmas lights show!

This place is one of the coolest places we have seen. The mountain bike park was 350,000 square feet of amazingness. There are really gnarly jump lines, along with super flowy pump lines for the less vertically inclined. When the park is completed it will have a full 1-1.5 mile single track that goes around the entire park.

We wanted to share with you some amazing pictures from the talented Andy Bokanev. We are lucky to have Andy traveling with us this year and snapping the best shots out there in the CX world right now.

Bokanev-Louisville-8169Went for a run, on the moon.

3 different jump lines

Single track around the jumps, also looks like riding on the moon!

Amazing flow lines

Catching some air on one of the “easy jumps”.

Hugo got quite a bit of air on this one.

That is so awesome. I would love to get our junior racing team in there. Redzone kids would love as would I.

I’m hoping someone is already hatching a plan to have a CX race in there…

    Hey Jeremy,

My name is Wade Wallace and I run This is one of the most awesome things I’ve ever seen. Any chance I could use one of these photos in my daily news and then link back to it for people to read the rest? Just let me know if I have permission and I’ll do the rest. Any other info you could provide on where these shots were taken (who, what, when, where, why, etc) would be fantastic! I’ve left my email above.

Good way of describing, and nice piece of writing to get
data regarding my presentation focus, which i am going
    to present in college.
